Some time ago, a devastating earthquake in the city of Sichuan (China) took the lives of thousands of people and many children were orphaned.
Our founder traveled there to facilitate psychological support for those children and ended up adopting two siblings who had been so powerfully traumatized that they had lost the ability to speak. For a long time, despite all the love she gave them, and after trying various therapies, the children remained traumatised. But she would not be defeated. She continued to investigate, and ultimately discovered an innovative therapy based on contact with dolphins. Immediately she decided to try this new technique. She made arrangements with a national aquarium and quickly discovered that dolphins could provide an ideal form of rehabilitation for these children. Every time they interacted with the dolphins, their way of thinking changed and they began to emerge from the negativity which had stayed with them since the tragedy they had experienced
After a while, one of the children began to speak, and her first word was “mama”.
Everybody involved was astonished. The therapy produced better results than anyone had imagined. The change in the children was really quite incredible. Many people and much effort were involved in the process, but the results were surely worth it. The dedication of our founder to those children, together with her great love of fashion led to her decision to create her own clothing brand. Thus was born KIDOLPHIN, a fusion of the words KID and DOLPHIN.
Our mission is to embrace the future of fashion responsibly, using resources wisely and choosing natural raw materials from which to design the best products, from the heart.
We are aware that the fashion industry is one of the most polluting. For example, when you wear a T-shirt made from conventional cotton you should know that it required thousands of liters of water in production. And if the same T-shirt is made from polyester, nylon or acrylic when you wash it, its plastic content will be contributing to the pollution of our oceans. That´s why KIDOLPHIN uses eco-friendly and certified-organic fabrics which are gentle and caring for the skin of young ones, and free from chemicals, dyes, and bleaches. That guarantees the best softness, allows the skin to breathe better and, most importantly, avoids any risk of allergic reactions.

CERTIFICATION OEKO-TEX 100
OEKO-TEX has become an international safety standard in the textile sector.
The label «OEKO-TEX® Standard 100» is used to indicate textile products which have passed a series of laboratory tests in recognised independent organisations, and which have been shown to pose no risk to health.
This label is only awarded to products which are free from prejudicial substances in all of their components. The OEKO-TEX® tests involve more than a hundred different parameters and go much further than the legal requirements.
Through such certification, we at KIDOLPHIN guarantee you that our products offer the best quality there is for the skin of your young ones.
The GOTS rules (Global Organic Textile Standard) are integral rules for ecological and socially responsible textile production.
These rules were developed with the objective of defining globally recognised requirements and to assure the organic status of textile products, from the acquisition of raw material, through socially and environmentally responsible production to correct labelling. The result is that the final product offers consumers the necessary safety and credibility.
Since its inception in 2006 the Global Organic Textile Standard has won universal recognition, allowing processors and manufacturers to offer organic textiles with a certification recognised in all major markets. The GOTS logo and system of labelling represents a milestone in recognition for the consumer, and a strong back up to our concept of assured quality.
